The global spa and beauty family, which includes Haven Spa, have embraced the following seven standards of confidence as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
1. Keeping the wellbeing of our staff & guests as our top priority.
2. Offering personal protective equipment as required by law to protect staff & guests.
3. Mindful & visible hand-washing (both staff & guests).
4. Practicing physical distancing in non-treatment spaces.
5. Staying home when ill (both staff & guests).
6. Verbal & visual greetings without touch.
7. Visible & transparent promotion of sanitation & hygiene efforts.

HAVEN’S FACILITY CHANGES:
Installation of Nu-Calgon Bi-polar Ionization Air Filtration System: We’ve installed this system on all three floors of our spa to possibly help reduce exposure to the corona virus. Click here to learn more.
Professional Deep Cleaning: Prior to re-opening, we have had a professional service disinfect the facility from top to bottom.
Daily Cleanings with Clean Republic Disinfectant: We are proud to use this non-toxic, effective, nature-derived brand of cleaners that are effective against COVID without harsh chemicals or toxic fumes. We continually clean surfaces throughout the day, especially in service rooms between each client visit.
New Plexiglass Barriers Installed: In our reception area and nail boutique you’ll notice the addition of plexiglass barriers to help better protect our clients and staff.
Removal of Superfluous Items from Our Space: We have removed extra fabric, magazines and other miscellaneous items throughout space to reduce opportunities for contact transmission.
Clear Signage: We have posted clear reminders of our guidelines throughout the spa. We kindly ask that you respect and follow our new guidelines for your own safety as well as the safety of other clients’ and our staff.
HAVEN’S PROCEDURAL CHANGES:
Wellness Screenings: Prior to your arrival for a service, we ask that you fill out our Online Screening Form here. If you arrive without having filled it out, we will ask you to fill out a hard-copy before entering our spa.
Front Porch Check-in: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment and text us at 845-876-7369 so we can have someone ready to greet you. We will text you when it’s time to check-in on the front porch. It may take a moment, so please dress accordingly.
Temperature Screenings: Upon arrival, we will take everyone’s — both clients’ and staff’s — temperature with touchless thermometers outside of our main facility.
Face Masks: Staff and clients are required by law to wear masks and other protective equipment in order to protect staff and guest. We ask that you bring and wear an effective mask that covers your mouth and nose. If not, one will be provided for you.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Appropriate PPE will be worn by all employees based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence with state and local regulations and guidance.
Please Limit the Belongings You Bring Inside: Please enter with only your keys and/or phone. While personal beverages are not allowed inside, hot tea and water are served on our front porch.
Social Distancing: We have limited seating and reduced our maximum occupancy to help staff and clients practice physical distancing in non-treatment spaces. Guests are advised to stand at least six feet away from others in a group. Employees will be reminded to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from guests and other employees whenever possible.
Payment: While we are accepting cash and credit card transactions, treatments and gratuity can be paid for via touchless transactions if preferred.
Hand Sanitizing: Hand-sanitizing dispensers will be placed at key guest and employee entrances and contact areas for easy access.
Services Offered: We are offering all our original services, per New York State’s guidance.
COVID-19 Training: All employees have been trained on COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols with even more comprehensive training for our team members who have more frequent guest contact.
